Frontier Conference Commissioner Kent Paulson released the 2023 Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track & Field All-Conference teams today.
To be selected to the All-Conference Team, the student-athlete must place in the top three of
their events at the conference meet. Three Bulldogs earned All-Conference honors.
Araceli Ramirez finished the Women’s 1500m run at the Frontier Conference Championships.
She recorded a time of 5:07.66 to place second. Over the season, Ramirez competed in the
Women’s 1500m, 800m, and the 4x400m race.
Taya Brewer earned a qualifying time for the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at
the Tom Gage Invite last weekend. She finished in a time of 37:55.41 after the altitude
conversion, well under the B standard. Brewer finished in third place in the Women’s 10,000m
run at the Frontier Conference Championships and earned Frontier Conference Track Athlete of the Week back on April 10.
Luke Lutz earned his way on the All-Conference team after he finished the Men’s 10,000m race with a time of 32:12.96 after the altitude conversion for a school record (as of 2017). This
season, Luke also competed in the Men’s 5000m race, 1500m race, and the 800m race.
