Snowy Conditions Keep First Responders Busy Wednesday Morning

Winter has finally arrived and with it so have the complications of snowy roads. Wednesday morning Southwestern Montana woke to 6 inches of snow on top of a frozen layer of ice from the melting snow the day before.

I-15 south of Dillon saw a few slide offs in the morning. The first reported slide off was near Clark Canyon Dam on I-15 North mile marker 40. This was around 9:30 in the morning.

Around 10:30 A.M. another slide off was reported on I-15 mile marker 57 in the southbound lane. A white Chevy Impala lost control and ended up in the median with the airbags deployed. The passenger and driver of the vehicle were out on scene talking with first responders.
