Saturday April 1st I-15 Southbound MM1 slushy and snowy conditions on Monida pass caused a multi vehicle pileup. A car attempting to pass a semi-truck hit 4 inches of slush causing the vehicle to be pulled into the semi-truck. The vehicle came to a stop after colliding with the semi, another vehicle was unable to see the stopped car and rear ended them. A few moments later a dodge truck pulling a trailer swerved to avoid the two cars and ended up coming to a stop stuck in the median. The roads currently are slushy with 4 to 6 inches of either slush or snow on them along with high wind making visibility extremely poor. If you do not have to travel in this area it is advised not to until conditions, clear up.
