DILLON, Mont. - The Frontier Conference 2024 All-Conference volleyball teams were announced this afternoon. The awards were selected by the league's head coaches, who were not permitted to vote for their own institution. Montana Western had six individuals earn conference honors.
Danyel Martin, a 6-2 senior middle blocker from McAllister, Mont., was selected first team all-conference after she totaled 206 kills on the season for 1.96 kills per set with .262 hitting percentage. She also was second in the conference with 1.11 blocks per set and a total of 117 blocks this season.
Jordan Olson, a junior 6-1 right side hitter from Billings, Mont., was selected first team all-conference after she was 10th in the conference for kills per set with 2.54 and a total of 318 this season. In addition, Olson was 11th in the conference for blocks per set with 0.7 after totaling 88 this season.
Jazi Smith, a 5-11 senior outside hitter from Mossyrock, Wash., was selected first team all-conference after she led the Bulldogs with 408 kills on the season for 3.26 kills per set. She finished 2nd in the conference for total kills, 4th in kills per set, 7th in the conference in total digs (509 total), and 9th in digs per set (4.07).
Peyton Vogl, a senior 6-0 middle blocker from Townsend, Mont., was selected second team all-conference after finishing 3rd in the conference in blocks per set with 1.11. She went on to total 139 blocks this season to lead the Bulldogs, while finishing with 2.17 kills per set and a total of 271 kills in conference.
Savana Warburton, a 5-10 freshman outside hitter from Joliet, Mont., was selected to the all-freshman team after she totaled 68 kills for 0.97 kills per set and 17 blocks after playing in 22 matches this season.
Maxine Hoagland, a 5-11 redshirt freshman opposite hitter from Whitehall, Mont., was selected to the all-freshman team after she had 0.90 kills per set and a total of 53 kills this season. She also added 28 total blocks on the right side.
