KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2025 Daktronics NAIA Winter Scholar-Athletes. This honor recognizes student-athletes in each of the winter sports who have excelled academically including men's basketball, women's basketball, men's bowling, women's bowling, competitive cheer, competitive dance, men's swimming and diving, men's wrestling and women's wrestling. Montana Western had seven athletes named to the list.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
