The Lima Volunteer Fire Department responded to a chimney fire in Monida late Monday night (12/06/2021).

With help from neighbors Casey Smith, Cecile Skaggs, along with a Beaverhead County Sheriff's Deputy and Idaho's Clark County deputy, working together they were able to help keep the fire from spreading until the fire department arrived.

Once on scene Lima Fire was able to gain access to the attic and distinguish the fire keeping damage to a minimum.
