KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NAIA released its week eight Football National Players of the Week this afternoon. Montana Western's Jake Humphrey has been named National Offensive Player of the Week.
Humphrey is the fifth football player to earn NAIA National Player of the Week honors under coach Ryan Nourse and the third Bulldog to earn national honors this season.
Humphrey led the No. 6 ranked Bulldogs with a career-high 215 rushing yards in 42-24 road victory at Rocky Mountain. He rushed 20 times in the game and ran for five touchdowns. Humphrey also averaged 10.8 yards per rush. The last time a Bulldog running back rushed for over 200 yards was Reese Neville back in 2021 against Rocky.
