Cubs Let Bandits Walk Away With Back To Back Wins On Seasons Last Home Games (Photo Gallery)

The Cubs have been in a slump lately and Saturday's home games were no exception as the Cubs lost both games against the Bandits.



Game 1

The Bandits would come out in the top of the first inning and put up seven points. Sawyer Olsen singled, scoring one run, an error scored two runs, Cade Thomas hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, Andrew Hazen singled, scoring two runs, and Keenan Kraft doubled, scoring one run.


The Cubs would only put one point on the board in the bottom of the first.


Cohen Hartman went 1-for-3 at the plate as the right handed hitter led the team with one run batted in. Kanin Englehardt, Andrew Bartlome, Skradski, Hartman, and Jase Alvarez each collected one hit for the Cubs. The Cubs turned one double play in the game.


The Cubs lost game one 10 to 1.



Game 2

The Cubs would lose game two 19 to 2.


In the top of the fifth inning the Bandits would score 16 runs on four hits. Thomas drew a walk, scoring one run, Avery Pena singled, scoring two runs, Keenan Kraft hit a grand slam to right field, Ryas Olson was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Thomas doubled, scoring three runs, Colby Garland induced Max Dunning to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, an error scored two runs, and another error scored two more runs.


Kanin Englehardt led the Cubs with two runs batted in. The right fielder went 1-for-2 on the day. Englehardt, Bartlome, and Konen each collected one hit in the game.
