Call For Artists: Wrap Our Ride!
Do you have a design idea for the City of Dillon Police Department’s Ford Interceptor?
The Police Department is looking to artists to design an artistic vinyl wrap for the Ford interceptor, which will be used as part of an innovative approach that not only will enhance the visibility and presence of our police force, but also serve as a mobile billboard showcasing Dillon’s unique attractions and welcoming visitors.
Submissions will be accepted until January 31st, 2025 at 5:00 p.m.
The winning artist will get to:
Have their own design turned into a vehicle wrap for the patrol car
Be recognized in the Police Department’s social media initiative
Be invited to reveal the finished design at an open house hosted by the City of Dillon, Montana Department of Commerce Office of Tourism, and the Dillon Police Department
Dillon area residents were asked to vote on a theme to best represent the City of Dillon, and artists are asked to consider the top three themes that were picked:
Beaverhead County High School Beavers and University of Montana Western Bulldogs
Rodeo and Ranching
Fishing and Hunting
Artists must consider the surfaces of the vehicle which will have the vinyl wrap applied, for example there can be no graphics in front two windows and front windshield. A detailed outline of the vehicle as well as the submission form is available online at https://www.dillonmt.org/patrolling-with-pride. Artists may submit multiple designs, but one
submission form should accompany each design.
